i went to it and registered as a developer and when they sent me my email with a link to get the sdk the link doesnt work

Ahaahah, the "iPhone Masterer". I'm not sure why but that avatar gets me rollin.

I'm stuck at work on a ThinkPad right now so I doubt I'll get a chance to peek into that illustrious DMG until I get home. *sigh*

If it helps further, the Apple Developer Connection download server is this:
http://adcdownload.apple.com/


Hint: Add the path.

Edit: Also, this includes XCode 3.1, which is why it is so monstrous. The actual iPhone stuff is listed under "Aspen", and is about 450 MB total.

The link apple sent me via Email didn't work but I tried the direct link and it worked a charm.. I just wish I was at home on my 24mbit connection - I may have to sleep while the SDK downloads ..
