Iphone 2.0 upgraded fine but now lags and crashes!

Has anyone had any problems with the new upgrade? I upgraded my phone yesterday, and of course it didn't go smoothly but it eventually worked. However now my phone lags when i go to type on the keyboard and it crashes when I use certain free apps, such as Jott.

Anyone out there seen the same thing or did I just win the "screw you" lottery?

Should I take it in to a mac store/at&t store?

I had the same problem, here's a solution:

I was having very similar problems and I think I know what was causing it. I'm guessing you're also seeing these delays when you go to contacts or perform any action on the phone that would access the contacts file. In my case, it was due to having nearly 5,000 contacts on the phone. When I turned on MobileMe syncing, it synced all the contacts instead of just the groups I wanted. It took some time, but I eventually found the right settings to fix this. Here's a complete post outlining what I did:
