He will sell you empty promises... DON'T PAY hime for what he claims is "HIS" 100% Moeny Back Guarantee UNLOCK SOLUTION... BS.

i'm a newbie and after eight hours of research (after he messed up my iPhone and didn't do anything to fix it), i found out that his Unlock solution for 1.1.4 was actually the hard work of ZiPhone.org and his NEW iPhone 2.0 and 3G Solution is actually iPhone Dev Team's hard work at http://blog.iphone-dev.org/

He doesn't do anything for you... he doesn't provide Firmware (or where to get it), nor the Boot Loader required by Pwnage Tool 2.0.1 (yes, 2.0.1, not the 2.0 release yesturday; it was re-released).

So, now, all i have is a Dispute via PayPal... wish me GOOD LUCK!!! i would say this happened for being a NEWBIE, or a SUCKER, or STUPID... whatever the reason, i don't want anyone else to pay this FOOL for something he didn't put any effort to create. imagine that you work you Axx off to create something, but someone else get not only credit for it, but gets money for it to.
SAVE your money or give the iPhone Dev Team a DONATION for their hard work!!!

That does suck. I think as the iPhone become a popular device more people will do this to take advantage of others. I recall when the RAZRs came out and people were offering to unlock them on ebay for a hefty fee.

Duh?

This is why it pays to do research before paying for software.

i've seen you around MacRumors... i have a question for you:

i updated my iPhone with the 2.0 "custom" firmware and everything was fine (a little slow in response, but whatever)... i press on the icon (can't remember the name, but it's like the installer.app type) and now a have a Blank screen with the Apple spinning thing in the middle, but it doesn't respond to the HOME button or the POWER button... what can i do? should i go back to 1.1.4 (i heard 2.0 had too many bugs); oh, by the way, i had never update my iPhone, i still had the 1.0.2 installed until yesturday.

i started a New Thread:

Hold the home and power button until the phone turns off, then turn it back on by holding the home button for a couple seconds.

Cydia seems to crash a bunch. It's pretty annoying. :(

And wow, I can't believe you had 1.0.2 for that long!

i know 1.0.2 was a Dinosaur, LOL :)

i tried that, but didn't work... i just got home and i "restored" it to the custom firmware again (under my hacking USER account in my laptop), then i went back to my Regular USER account and i held the alt/option key and clicked on the phone (kind-of right-click) and chose restore from backup... and it works again!!!

by the way, what do you think of this:

is Cydia just like Installer.app...... for 3rd Party Apps??? and if you don't care for it can you not install it?

i read somewhere in this forums that when you use the Pwnage Tool 2.0.1 through EXPERT mode and don't make any changes, it is the same as SIMPLE mode, but it fixes some problems. i didn't quit understand everything, but i did the EXPERT mode and Unchecked the Cydia (as this is where my iPhone 2.0 FROZE the previous time i Pwnage it).

let me know, anyone, if that was okay?

I wish my husband would have checked this site before paying their subscription. He paid the monthly fee so he could unlock an iphone we have and we never got the log in info to get to the members area to even use it. Now i have to go around and play tag with paypal to get the money back, if i even do.
