Can anyone help the stupid? I've burned some songs onto a CD on my Mac but they won't play on my CD player. If finalization is required, how do you do it? Can't find any helpful menus or a clear answer in FAQs. Doesn't mean it's not there, just that I can't see it.

CD burned on Mac won't play on other machines
Guess I did it in Finder. I'd previously copied a CD to my Mac and it comes up along with Applications, Documents etc in Finder. I just dragged it across to the new CD in the player and burned it. When I try to play the CD I burned in another player, it shows that there is something recorded and appears to be playing it but no sound!

When you burn a disk like that, it's essentially a data disk.
Assuming you have the songs in iTunes, make a playlist and burn the music CD from there.
