Hi there .I need help. I download movies from the internet in hd they seem to be mkv files or x264. When I convert them using isquint the film judders and I loose quality. It's almost like there are frames missing. I am still very new to this so any help would be fantastic.

You should check out "VisualHub" which is iSquint's successor. However, it's been discontinued recently so there won't be any updates there. HandBrake will soon encode video files too. You can check out this functionality by downloading the latest snapshot at http://handbrake.fr/?article=snapshot
