Does anyone know if you can play this game with random people or
only friends?

Anyone. Just hit the random person button. It was free for a day or something... so I got it

. When you add a game there are 3 options, Contact list, Random Opponent, or Pass and Play. I hope this helps.

Thanks I couldn't tell from the videos or description.
