so I had this happened to me https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/644327/ and I have been using my bluetooth keyboard for a while now and I just can't stand it anymore. How much would it cost to get the keyboard replaced? I don't have the guts to do it myself. Would you guys recommend sending to Apple or a 3rd party? How much do you guys think this would cost?

Thanks.

Why don't you just call Apple your in your first year still? Unless you spilled something on it.

You don't really need a manual, just some guidance on what to remove step-by-step along the way. Also, get the tools required before you operate on it, as some of the screw bits to be removed inside it are not your conventional phillips head. One thing's for sure, you'll need a lot of patience.

For some guide with photos, please see http://www.devonbuy.com/replacing-macbook-pro-keyboard/ . Links are provided on where to get parts and tools. Good luck!
