I was pleased to finally get my hands on a copy of Bill Dudney's book "Core Animation" but found that I was mildly disappointed in that I was hoping to see examples of how to use all of those settings In Interface Builder for CA but the book mostly deals with code.

This is probably my own fault in that having seen the version of IB that came with Xcode 3 I was hoping to make a few clicks here and there and have fantastic animations running in my app without lots of code, but it seems not.

But this begs the question, if you still need to write lots of code to make CA happen what is IB doing with all those selectable options ? Or am I missing something ?
