Home sharing is free, and to unlicense computers you need to authorize 5, then u can unauthorize them all from itunes.

Question: All of my music is non-drm nothing from ITMS

Why must I authorize a computer to play only non-drm music?

Do you mean for homesharing? It is so that some friend can't just come over and grab all your music from homesharing, that way you're limited to giving your music to 5 computers.

to my understanding, the 5 computer thing is only for drm music, not music ive ripped to cds

im just confused why they have such a limitation for non drm music
