An unhelpful wild guess ?
Open the Energy Saver System Pref, uncheck the "Put the hard disks to sleep when possible" for 24 hours. See if it makes a difference. Could be an issue spinning up sleeping disks. Is there anything else we should know ? ie. Is it the boot disk, or another internal disk ? Do you use the Software RAID ? Have you run the volume through Disk Utility First Aid ? |

Upgrading the OS is not possible because of a stiff company environment.
But running Disk Utility First Aid solved the problem, thanks! |
