Seeing how it's a 2.16ghz, it's an older model.

Have they been there all along? I'd wager Apple is going to be hesitant to replace the panel, just because dead pixels can be caused by poking/impacts to the panel, and on a computer that's a couple years old, they'll figure that's been the case.

I have this problem again. Those three dead pixels somehow vanished, but now one vertical line of pixels are always green. It doesn't change when I reboot or anything, in every application, it is always green. Below is a picture of my screen with a completely black image so it is easy to see. Is there anything I could do to fix this, or would i have to contact Apple. I have Apple care, would they fix this problem for free?

Usually AC will take care of it if it's over 3-5 pixels, but this is an older laptop so it depends. Worth a try though!
