The only problem is you need to be built like Jesse Ventura in Predator to actually carry that thing, Ammo pack, and two truck batteries to power the motors. Unfortunately the whole rig would start at about 120lbs for a 1000 round capacity.

Remington Firearms makes a very nice little affordable home protection shotgun. Sounds like that would do the trick. 😉
If it were me, (I'm a decent shot) I'd use my turkey shotgun with 6 shot turkey loads. They are good out to about 60 yards before they lose their pattern. 10 yards and under it would blow a basketball sized hole right through someone. 🙂

Pretty dang fast. I believe the home protection shotguns they offer hold 7 shots. They are pump, but they are fast and hardly ever jam. I have four Remington shotguns not one has ever jammed and I shoot them a lot.
3" 2 oz. 6 shot Hevi-Shot turkey loads out of a 11 87 semi-auto Remington 12 ga. 1200 fps. 😉
I believe this shot was 50 yards. As you get closer, the pattern tightens up.
