I'm doing an Engineering honours thesis next year, for which I need to learn C programming (probably C++, but I'm not 100% sure). I haven't done any C programming before. I've done a tiny bit of Java, and a whole lot of Matlab. Can anyone recommend any online tutorials that would help me learn C programming? At some stage I'm going to have to learn how to receive and deal with visual data from cameras, so a tutorial involving creating a webcam app or something similar would be extremely useful.
