Presumably you took this with a built-in isight which is why it's flipped... but still, looks kind of skewed.

As someone who has done his fair-share of sharpie tattoos on friends, I def. call fake on this. Which in turn gives it a very low rating in my opinion.

In fact, if someone were to submit a picture of their arm and it didn't have an tattoo, I would vote them higher out of good-natured spite.

It's real, actually. I'll see if I can find some of the pictures from the night I got it done. I got it just under a year ago.

Hmm... Well then as an experienced draftsman and artist, my condolences. I feel you did not get the professional results you paid for. Ever seen that show Miami Ink? There was an episode when the office assistant Yoshi (?) got to start inking customers and it was a small, simple design, and it looked terrible. That's what this reminds me of.

I'm sorry, but i'm still thinking that's a sharpie job as I still think it looks like one, and can't believe any established tat shop would let that escape from its doors.

I hate to just drop in and comment (but that's what forums are for isn't it I guess) but I have to agree with the above.

I don't mean to call ephrin a liar but your 'tattoo' doesn't look real at all! It does look suspiciously like a felt tip pen job, which is what a Sharpie is isn't it? (I'm from London so forgive my Sharpie ignorance) I may not be an expert in pens but I know my 'tattoos' having had a few myself and none I have ever seen or ever gotten has a smudged outline like the one on your arm even if they're more than 10 years old (as some of mine are)

I'm afraid it's the smudged outline that is clearly visible in your pic (but only where the pen has been drawn against the skin at an angle rather than on the whole outline) that gives the game away.

It's not real I say. And why insist that it is. tell us where you got it done - if only to save others from having to visit...

anyone saying it's fake actually have any tattoos? Looks real to me, looks like it's even starting to scab a bit on the left side (left in this picture, right side in real life).

I have tattoos. This is either fake, or the worst tattoo ever. If that actually is real, which I seriously doubt, you need to get it covered up with a tattoo done by a professional and not your cousin. Upload this to www.badtattoos.com because that's where it belongs, if it's real, which it's not so nevermind.
