I just got a new 64GB iPod Touch (to replace an older iPod Photo that my
kids said was "too clunky" ;^) ) - everything works fine, but there are some
differences. For example, I can no longer have "Enable disk use" since the
"hard drive" in a Touch really isn't a hard drive.

One thing I'm puzzled by at the moment is how do I get all my playlists in
iTunes to come over to the Touch? Have I missed a setting during the
synch process?

Thanks . . .

Solved my problem

It turrns out that, due to the size of my library (~51GB), iTunes thought there
wasn't enough room to synch the whole library when I did the first synch, so
it reverted to just synching selected songs, playlists, and genres. And sure
enough, there were no playlists selected - so none got synched. ;^)

I have since checked the "entire library" option, and all playlists and genres
have moved over just fine. And I still have 5GB left . . . ;^)
