I have tested out my cheap Jabra 260 and it doesn't see it with the bluetooth active. I have updated the touch to 3.1.2 - so what am I missing here? The DISCOVERING DEVICES just keeps on spinning and never finds the device. I know the headset works because it works with my cell phone. Any ideas?

did you put the bluetooth in discovery mode while at the same time, the ipod searching for bluetooth devices?

yes, I did it the same way it was discovered with my phone. I have since used another bluetooth device, an LG (around $30.00) and this is also not being picked up. Strange.

Ok, I am starting to see that, but I have read about people still being able to use Bluetooth (unless they were mistaken), so that is where I am looking into. I am going to try using it with a straight headphone/mic jack as well and see if that suffices, but I would like to get the bluetooth going...
