Looks the goods.

Thunderbolt - rad name.

So - 1280x800 remains standard, no SSD for boot drive, faster RAM, FaceTime HD, same weight.

Any chance of a german translation?

The name would be more appropriate for a Washing Machine Soap...but hey...the name is not everything...I just hope the 13" would get an i5.

Also hope that thing is a fake, that processor would be awesome but the intel 3000 graphics card justs kills it for me, it is quite simply not worthy of a laptop of this price.

And if that thing was not fake at all, he would have taken a picture of the front cover to show us the design, would'nt he ?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5)

Something about those specs don't seem right. The resolution and lack of ssd stick out like sore thumbs.

Any chance of a german translation?

Here's a translation by a MR member from a similar story on a French site...

Here i help you to translate it

Core i5 two cores at 2.3 GHz 3 MB cache
4 GB of DDR3 1333 MHz
Hard Drive 320 GB 5400 rpm
Screen 13.33 "glossy 1280x800
Intel Graphics GPU HD 3000 with 384MB of RAM shared with main memory
Caméra HD FaceTime
Superdrive 8x
Thunderbolt yet compatible with the I / O devices and high speed MiniDisplayport
SDXC Card slot, Firewire 800 and two USB 2.0
Digital Audio Output
Integrated Ethernet
Backlit keyboard
Size and weight 32.5 x22, 7x2, 41 cm, 2.04 kg

note the
- Screen Resolution
- Intel Graphics
- Two USB
- Thunderbolt is Apple's lightpeak

did someone just say three USB 2.0?
and there isn't any 16GB SSD storage

All these rumors drive me crazy...

Here is the translation of the article (chrome translate)

This photo was taken I have just sent, it shows the specifications of the new 13 "MacBook Pro -. Is unclear whether the entry or the more expensive of the two common size 13 models, this is the last gerüchteten specifications seem to be at least the 13 "MacBook Pro not to confirm

Update 11:50 clock
It may be assumed that the information shown by the number 13 entry-level model. Remains possible that the more expensive 13-inch MacBook Pro has a higher resolution or as the current 15 "MacBook Pro is a richer pixel display (and a matte option) offered at an additional cost - but this is pure speculation on my part.

End of translation.

This seems pretty legit and pretty lame at the same time.
The thing is that we know we'll always be disapointed in the end, we always think all the rumors are going to come true, but in the end, there's always some missing specs.

All I want is a good powerful 13, get rid of the optical drive, get SSD for fast booting and all. Screen resolution update would be a definite plus.

I can't be bothered with 15' anymore, too big to walk around with it.

The stuff about the display - I'm sure it's probably just the current boilerplate but I just want to know what it says.

"13,3" (diagonal) LED-backlit glossy widescreen display"

its the same...

but fscklog writes, that this is the packaging of the basic 13 inch model. so the 1499 verison might get additional features... (higher resolution, anti glare, or ssd...)

The GPU is disappointing indeed. The Intel 3000 HD is on par with the GeForce 310 that's in the 11" Macbook Air. Not sure why they'd do that on a bigger, more powerful machine but I suppose all will be revealed soon. I'd really hate to have to bypass Apple and get an ugly Lenovo/Dell just because of the GPU.

*sigh*

Is the size and weight identical to the April 2010 model?

Somebody please check, I've already sold mine.

3000 HD outperforms the 320m in all tests that I've seen.

I sure hope the 16GB SSD is in there somewhere. Or that this is the lower end, and the higher end 13 has it.

Screen resolution doesn't mean much to me. But I want Apple POWA!!

Yes they are the exact same...

I guess this is indeed the LOW END, i suppose the HIGH END would be lighter since it won't have the superdrive but it's just my speculation...

Looking at those specs = Not bothered that I got my MBP at the start of the year.

More intersted in the late 2011 redesign tbh
