Surely if you have one in your hand you can take more than one pic of it...

Also, if this is recording using the front facing camera, how does the camera app know that's the camera you want to use? I would assume that putting the switch over to []< would capture video with the camera on the back.

Silly ---- can't you see with the way he's holding it, his hand has covered the camera on the back of the iPhone!

Mr Blurrycam is at it again. if this is actually your pic and you want to get a good rumour out on MacRumors and other blogs take a hi res, sharp, close up pic of the whole face of the iPhone with the camera on.

This very well could be real...

The metadata of the photo when brought into photoshop shows that the make and model of the camera shooting the photo is the Nokia 3110c, which just happens to be the same image of the phone he is holding on the screen of the iphone which does prove the a front facing camera.

Phone

"Get Info" the file, says the image is created on a Nokia 3110c (Picture below, matches the one in the picture^ ), so can't get Mr Blurry cam for that one. As easy as it is to change the strings embedded in the image...

EDIT; @ nevesis damn! you beat me to it!

Fake.

Check the light flare on the left side by his hand. Doesn't appear to be right.

Edit: To me it would require a light coming from nearly the direct left of the device in his hand and there can't be because of the placement of his hand.

I'll eat my socks if I'm wrong, though.

more?

@ Jancalo

I'm not convinced, if it's real, you won't mind uploading more pictures ;)

This seems fairly convincing. To the OP, please just take more shots and keep your identity concealed.

I'm not completely sold on the reason for even having a front facing camera.

I can't imagine the quality of any type of video conferencing call would be worth a crap.

Hmm.. the green light for the front facing camera is in different places in these two pictures.

Fake.

He's holding the iPhone in his left hand but on the iPhone screen its his right arm showing. Meaning he should be holding the iPhone with his right hand. Hes taking the picture with the Nokia in his left hand.

That's my reasoning. There isn't a good reason to have it yet. iPhone users would be taking down the cellular networks like mad.

The iPhone front facing camera has more than a usage over 3G video calls. The camera can be used to take pictures of yourself or with others while being able to see it, and or be used strictly for video calls over WiFi for the time being.

I'd love to be at home and video chatting with my girlfriend at night. Oh the possibilities. :p
