Cannot output a randomized slideshow?

I enjoy viewing a bunch of photos in slideshow, and I like the random feature, but if I wanted to create a slideshow and output it then I can't do so using the random feature?

I know, I could manually manipulate the photos, but why don't we have the option of a one time shuffle of the slides? I don't really care about the order.
