Road Runner E-mail settings for Snow Leopard

I had one heck of a time getting my Road Runner E-mail working with Leopard.
If I upgrade to Snow Leopard does anyone know if I will have same trouble again?
If I would have trouble how would I fix it?
I am a old coot who just switched over to mac.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you have email working properly with Leopard and you simply upgrade to Snow on the same machine, none of your email settings will be changed and it should continue to work as it does now.

Just to add to what Weaselboy said, I would also write down the email settings currently in-use on your computer so you have access to them if you need them in the future, or change email applications to one that doesn't support importing from another program or version.
