Mac Pro and RAID 0/RAID 1?

Hello,

I was wondering why a raid card is a $700 option on the new mac pro's.

What does it take to set up a mac pro with two drives in a raid 0, and one other drive mirroring that one?

thanks,

r.

You can do it in software using disk utility in OSX. Though I use Softraid.
