Can i delete partition on main HD?

I created a partition of 30gb for a place to files and general dump. Im guessing i dont need it anymore.... just sitting idle. Could leave it... suppose i could install vista on it? Anyway .....

Before i attempt to delete by myself i thought id ask you clued up people if its possible without affecting the main partition which has snow leopard - which has no issues as far as i can tell - so i dont want to do a clean install or even use the superduper clone. (i keep two weekly updated cloned external drives via superduper so im covered).

Shall i just use Disk Utility?
Is it possible to delete a partition using a boot from the other bit of the partition?

Thanks.

It should be okay to just remove it with Disk Utility and then drag the size of your main partition to 100%.
