Apple Displays :(

Hi

How come Apple can make get dam fine computers manufactured, but when it comes to displays they seem to fall down.

Three different displays all with problems.

1. eMac - Strange circular marks in centre of the CRT tube, now defunct so nt a problem any longer.

2. iMac - Gradient issue & large dark grey dirty botches in every corner of the panel after some use.

3. Recently purchased 24" LED display - This has a top to bottom gradient issue and is now developing a large dirty grey patch
bottom left corner which is now starting to spread further, not good for a display of this price.

2 & 3 will be returned.

Can anybody recommend a good quality display upto about £500 ?
