art programme help please!?

hello,

hi i have tried searching the forum but cant find the answer, i am a new mac user. is there a application i can use to create a logo/badge. i only want it to incorparate basic shapes, circles, lines, letters etc. sorry i am not the best at computers as it is and still finding my way around my macbook pro..

There isn't a good program available preinstalled, but you could download and install Paintbrush which would probably do what you want.

ok, is there even a programme pre installed that does anything of the sort? i find it a bit strange if theres nothing at all. My friend has gimp on his p.c. would you recommend this or should i avoid it. thanks for your quick response!!

GIMP will be too complex for you if you aren't good with computers.

thanks very much, yeah when i had a lil go on gimp it did seem a bit overwhelming!! i just read the bottom link i am downloading drawberry,looks like it will suffice!! thanks, i may be back!!
