View options...background colour??
Ok, I was messing around with the different view options in finder. I found how to customize the background colour in this view (pic 1), but when i change the view options (pic 2), I can no longer change the background colour. There is no option for that...
Anyone know why this is, or how to change it...

I think a custom background color only applies in Icon View.

Confirmed
It's interesting that the Show View Options window will change dynamically if you leave it open and then change the View mode with the menu bar buttons. It seems that the default in Icon View is Color, but it is set to white. That's curious, since White is another choice.
