Time Machine

Is Time Machine Compatible with Mac OS X? Or will my school just wipe my computer and restore? I really don't think It would make sense if they downloaded software just to put a deleted app back on, even though I deleted the folder that held all my prefrences, and now I can only use Firefox to do school. They will just restore the computer right? (Its an iMac.)

Two things.
1. Time machine ONLY works on OSX.
2. I have no idea what the heck you are talking about in the rest of your question. Can you rephrase it?
