Mac Mail suddenly showing russian symbols? How?

Hi there.

Today, for some unknown reason mac mail is now pushing russian symbols into my emails. Anyone had this, or know how to correct it?

I receive emails in English and Spanish... but something has happened, and a lot of Spanish is now being shown or "translated" into Russian... it makes reading quite annoying.

Here is a little for ya
"Además enviaré una carta a El Mercurio y me comunicaré con la dueña del departamento para informarle esta situación."

Wow... When I copy/paste it turns the Russian symbols BACK into Spanish... weird.

Ok, anyone care to share some light onto the problem.

You probably have chosen the wrong encoding by error.

Choose the first one and it should work. See the screenshot for more info.
