List needed of alternative software
Hi, I am new to Macs, although very well equipped to deal with PCs but so unfamiliar with Macs now that i am loading up my new Macbook Pro, I am missing some software i came to love in PCs and am hoping someone can lead me towards the alternative in Macs.
Bear in mind, I may come back to this thread for a few weeks as i KEEP thinking of new ones i want to locate. One i am finding hard to live without, is ACDSee. Now, that said, I MUST have free software at this point so i cant pay for programs like the Mac version of ACDsee. I like to be able to do batch data properties on all photos....... I need a program like ACDSee that allows me most importantly, to take gifs or other formats and convert them to jpgs........i can resize not by pixesl size but by percentages such as wanting to resize it 45% of the original.........and so many other small jobs I can do with this program Last edited by SD-B : Oct 17, 2009 at 11:40 PM. |
