New iMac 21.5" and 27", but no 24"....ACD 24" but no 21.5" and 27" (yet)....Hmmm

Ok so who agrees with this theory.

I think the only reason Apple released the 24" Apple Cinema Display is because they had planned all along to introduce new iMac sizes, in this case the 21.5" and 27".

And maybe the reason for only releasing the 24" ACD was because they knew it wouldn't perfectly match with its new iMac line in terms of screen size, ratio, and resolutions. And there are other reasons that could make sense, like trying to differentiate between the two sizes more greatly for the consumer. I just find it a little odd that there is a noticeable matching gap in both product lines.

I'm willing to bet Apple is indeed working on a 27" and maybe a 21.5", or perhaps both, to perfectly match with their new iMac line.

Though I'll echo ongoing complaints here on the forum and wonder why Apple didn't release new ACDs, if any, today with everything else.

So here's hoping for the missing ACDs by the time Mac Pro Gulf Town comes out.
