How to put WD MyBook Essential on AEBS to sleep
I have a WD MyBook Essential connected to Airport Extreme (Simultaneous mode). The problem is that my disk remains always on, even at night when my MBP is shut down. How can i put it to sleep mode when not in use for a specific interval? The HDD when connected by USB directly to MBP supports this feature.

Got pretty much the same problem here. I have 2 of those drives that I've now hooked up to a USB hub. Problem is, one of them has no power button so I can't turn it off. The powered USB hub is keeping the damn thing on.

This is really weird. My mybook connected to my AEBS automatically spins down when not in use.
