Printing multiple pages per sheet, Double-sided from Preview

I want to print out some lecture slides that are in PDF form through Preview, and I've figured out how to get multiple pages per sheet (Print>Layout># pages per sheet dropdown)

But I also want to print double sided to save some paper... what I normally do for ordinary documents is print all odds in reverse order, then put that stack back in and print all evens (removing the last page if the total number of pages is odd).

Is there anyway to do this for when I am choosing to print multiple pages per sheet, other than of course, doing it manually sheet-by-sheet?

(Also is it possible to get preview to # the pages?)

Thanks for the help!
