osx has lost its HUD!!

ok this is fun...not
i was having trouble with my mdd(osx 10.4.11) and i deleted the bezel servies.plist, expeting them to show up after a reboot... well guess what the damm corrupted bezel (or rath un corrupted now) serves did not show up and fankly im at my wits end

at the risk of sounding like a noob: HELP ME!!

Backup your user folder and reinstall...

Or try to find someone with a non-corrupted file.

The only advice I can offer is that if you're going to be messing with OSX's internals, then I suggest you maintain a backup of your system.

While its pretty evident by posting here, you probably didn't do that, perhaps in the future, you'll be more apt to run a backup before doing any system maintenance

its ok guess what using the combo updater yu get stuff back....who new?
any way for futer refrence use the combu updater if you lose your hud
hope thats helpfull

As others have opined, you should back up your user folder and reinstall OS X.

After backing up, see if you can accomplish a partial reinstall that leaves your apps and user space untouched. Failing that, a thorough reinstall might be necessary.
