Parallels 4.0: Never asked HDD space?

So I just installed Win7 with Parallels 4.0 (I know not 5.0). But, it never asked how must space I wanted to partition like bootcamp. Does this mean it only takes up the space it needs? For example, when I installs something it will automatically take space from the Mac HD partition.

It should have asked. You can however resize it at any time as long as you didn't preallocate the space.
