Any Mac app that can download and join 'Google Maps' tiles?

The title says it all...

it's just because I'm not always in a wifi zone with my laptop and I use GoogleMaps a LOT! so, is there any app that can do that? Or better yet is there any way that I can get ALL google maps tiles in one big archive? I know it sounds far-fetched but a person can dream right?

Thanks in advance for all the help!

So, I was gonna say no idea, but googling "offline google maps" brought me to this handy little thing:

http://code.google.com/p/gmapcatcher/

Addendum: I don't know how to get it to work for me. I think all you need to do is double click on maps.py and it'll work, but I'm missing something.

It's " for inches and ' for feet. Have a nice day
