Convert image to text. Need program ASAP

Did a quick search, couldn't find any.

Searched Google... all I could find was programs for PC.

Do they exist on mac? I need one quick.

I need to convert an IMAGE to TEXT.

I do everything on my computer (for school) and I print out my notes. Lost some files, need to convert these scanned notes back to text (just so i have backups).

It helps if you're more clear about what you're asking. What you want is to OCR (Optical Character Recognition) scanned documents to editable text. There are many tools to do that, if you Google "OCR". More info here:

Google Docs does OCR.
