What is the best access point for Mac set up?
Hi all,
I'm sorry I'm posting this here if I'm not supposed to. I wasn't sure where to ask this question. I've been using Zyxel as my modem and Time Capsule as my access point for about 6 months now. I've grown increasingly annoyed with the drop in signal speed whenever Time Capsule does its backups - which is every 1 hour. I stream a lot of series and movies from my laptop through my PS3 and everytime there is a backup going on, the stream stutters... So in the end I've decided I am going to buy a new access point for the network and use Time Capsule for back up only so it does not affect the flow of the network signal in the house. Can someone recommend me a good Access point? Someone suggest Engenius ECB3500 to me, but it's only 11b/g and I'd like 11n if I can. I have about US$200 budget for this. Thanks for all opinions in advance. |
