Apps won't open unless...? Nevermind...solved!

I've got a number of applications that used to open properly if I simply clicked them open through the Finder or Path Finder "Applications" window. Now, suddenly, they will not open unless I click on them and then go the the File heading and hit Open and then selection Command Open.

Obviously, I have hit some setting by mistake that does this to me...so...how do I undo it?

Whoops...had double click set too fast...moved the slider towards the middle, problem seems solved. D'oh.
