Quicktime X black screen?
so my latest snow leopard wtf moment has been exporting a quicktime from apple's own final cut, using apple's own h.264, and then opening it in apple's shiny new quicktime x and only getting audio + blackness. scrub timeline, nothing.
strangely quicklook plays the movie fine, and when i try closing and reopening it in quicktime x, its fine! write it off as a weird random quirk if you will, but this scenario has happened to me at least 3 times now.
