Best VisualBasic interpreter/compiler for mac?

Back in the days of MS-DOS, I coded in VisualBasic with a program called VBDOS. Recently, I have decided to re-unite myself and my spare time with making some basic games in VisualBasic for giggles.

I started running VBDOS in DOSBOX (cos I have a mac now), but it is seriously dated, and I am very limited to what I can do. I was just curious weather there is anything like VBDOS but more up to date (and preferably free) out there for mac?

Thanks in advance.

Mono would be your best bet.

Assuming the OP is using VB.net. Which given the age of the stuff he's talking about I would presume he's not.

Look at RealBasic. Or learn a non-MS specific language that is portable across platforms.
