Australian mobile me code work in the States?

Found an ebay seller from AUS selling mobile me at a good price. But will that code work on my account here in the US? I dont see why it wouldnt but better to find out before I buy I guess.

According to Apples Website it states that Mobile me Mail works anywhere. I would either ask Apple in Australia or ask the seller on eBay.
