Lost the recovery disc of OSX...

i found out that I have lost the recovery discs that go along with my new i7 iMac...(just a week old...)

Anyway I could get it back from APPLE? I don't mind to pay...

Yes, call them and ask for the restore discs.

I've heard that they are ~$34.

Just called Apple here in Hong Kong, they are going to mail me back the 2 discs FREE OF CHARGE!

Had to tell them I broke the computer when I formatted a refurb back in the bad ole Apple days.

Sorry you have to pay to get a new set of disks, but the computer doesn't work without them, I formatted the drive ... can I get it declared DOA ... ok, your disks are on the way.
