AirPort Express Base and G5 compatibility
Hello Everyone,
I want to purchase this item, http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB...co=MTA4NDU4Mjk I currently received a Power Mac G5 and currently have a Linksys WRT54GS router at home that all my windows pc connect to. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this would be compatible with the router i have at home. Will i be able to pick up my routers wireless and connect to it? or no? Please let me know, Thanks Cherrios |

The AirPort Express will work with your Linksys in client mode, which means you can use it's USB port for share a printer and use AirTunes if you connect speakers to it. Officially, the AirPort Express cannot be used to rebroadcast or strengthen a non-Apple network, if you were looking to do so. Any additional questions you have regarding the Express are likely to be covered in this link.
