Designgeek's Stupid Question of the Week: Make Apple Script click "Allow"
I'm just going to start off by saying that I have absolutely no idea how any of this works. I saw on the OS X hints rss that it's better/cooler to write an apple script to open login items than doing it the easy way. So I tried and it works pretty well. Neat! But then I figured that I could probably get that annoying "Incoming Network Connections" window to go away with a few lines. I've googled the hell out of this and tried to get Automator to tell me it's secrets with Watch Me Do but to no avail. How do I get it to click "Allow"? Any help is great, I feel like I'm a few lines away from getting around this little bug.

I believe that dialog is related to the firewall, so make sure your login items are all allowed in the firewall. That might eliminate the dialog so you don't have to deal with it.
If that doesn't work, try to see what else might be causing the dialog to show.

Actually, I believe this is a common bug. I've tried adding iTunes to the white list in sys pref and still when I open it I get asked about allowing connections.
