Sata-300 drive compatible in unibody Macbook ??

Im looking at putting WD Scorpio 250 7200rpm drive in Macbook unibody, its Sata rating is 300.

Is this compatible with the unibody Mabook ?

Yes, but it will never exceed S-ATA 1.5Gbit/s.
S-ATA 3.0Gbit/s is backwards compatible.
