Snow Leopard Folder Compression???

When I right click a folder and select "Compress", it goes to about 99% and stalls... Doesn't budge, no beachball, it just doesn't move forever. I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.2, anyone else having this issue? I did a clean install.
Thanks.

Mine is fine:
Usual stuff:
Restart your Mac.
Repair permissions with Disk Utility.
Download and install the 10.6.2. Combo updater over your 10.6.2. install.

same issue (compression stalls)

I'm having the same issue, but only with a particular folder which has about 50 files in it. The status bar moves right along, then freezes at about the 90% point. No beachball, no message... I've tried letting it sit for quite some time, too.
