youtube won't work

i'm not sure this is in the right place, but i didn't see anywhere else this would go? last night sometime, youtube started going really slow, and then proceeded to stop loading videos all together. the funny thing is, the videos will load when i'm at school on my laptop, but they just will not work when i'm at home :| i've tried every browser, i've tried on windows 7 bootcamp and snow leopard, and nothing makes them run. i'm nearly sure it has something to do with this network connection, because they load fine at school. i don't get it.

i'd really appreciate some insight.
and they work fine when i'm behind a proxy?
