My God iTunes is slow!

I'm downloading a movie on iTunes... and it's taking forever. Is this normal? I mean I may not have the fastest connection, but it's still DSL. Anyways, as anyone experienced some slow downloads?

iTunes is all messed up right now. I get an error message just trying to log into my account.

slow here too... I am unable to make purchases or access my iTunes account... seems as if the store is overwhelmed with traffic

Agreed. The iTunes store seems to be unavailable for purchases.
