Got 1000$

Well I have 1000 bucks to spend on a notebook, My macbooks logicboard is So I'm just gonna get another...My question is, Should buy a new 13" macbook(the poly one, not the pro) Or should I buy a slightly used older macbook pro with 15-17" screen?

for $1000 the used pro will probably be quite used... id say go new whitebook or refurb 13" pro.... both are great machines.

Get the Macbook it'll be new and fast as a used pro.

I totally forgot about refurbs, Yea I think I will go with a 13" pro refurb

why refurb when new is $1050?

13" MBP 2.26, $1050 AR, no tax, free shipping. (you missed their sale)

same mac refurb is $999 + tax and Apples costs me = $90 more... $1090 for a refurb

EDIT: i know its too late now, but you could keep looking: amazon had the new white unibody macbook for $825 a few days ago...
