iMac Update to Haswell Expected in June or July as Shipments Sink

More RAM in base model iMacs please....
It would be nice to see Apple include 16Gb base RAM shipped from the factory with the 32Gb upgrade option; at the price level they're charging for iMacs combined with their cost savings from removing the optical drives, there's no reason not to ship with 16Gb minimum.
If you need an optical drive suck it in and buy an external, that's what I did when the internal superdrive died in my 2010 MPB, I got a third-party CD/DVD/Blu-Ray burner for not much more than the price of an external Superdrive; no I don't use optical discs everyday but there are occasions when people ask me for a disc and I am happy to oblige them instead of telling them something stupid like "get out of the dark ages" which is what some of you morons on MR are saying.
