can someone enlighten me about indexing and spotlight?
I'm in the process of comparing some different reference managers, and one of the tests I'm trying to do is how well they do full text searches of my research library. So, I did the same key word search of full collections (the exact same pdfs) using Bookends, Papers and Finder.
- in Bookends, I got 30 hits using the spotlight search - however, when I used the Finder to search the Bookends attachment folder, I got 268 returns - in Papers, I got 212 hits using the spotlight search So, I'm confused ![]() What's up with this?

Thanks, GG - in that case I guess I should just do my searches in Finder.
